A traditional method dry English sparkling wine (PGI) made by the 'Denbies Wine Estate' in Surrey. The assemblage is typical of English fizz, i.e. adding Seyval blanc to the big hitters: Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. This blend of varieties produces wines with great mouth-feel and creamy texture - the Seyval benefits from the traditional method and ageing giving hints of honeydew melon and white peaches. The finish is dry and classic English. Ideal with fish, cream based nibbles and spicey finger-food.
