2018 Sartori Amarone della Valpolicella
The grapes, carefully selected in the vineyard, are collected in small boxes and dried for about 3 -
4 months in dry and well-ventilated rooms. To achieve the ideal degree of dryness, they are pressed and then fermented in steel tanks that can control the temperature. For a few months, the wine is stored in concrete tanks to carry out malolactic fermentation. The wine is then aged in large oak barrels for about 3 years. After bottling, the product is aged in the bottle for another 6 months. The wine is characterized by a garnet red color with violet reflections. On the nose, there is a scent of ripe red dark fruits with possible hints of violets. On the palate it is dense and concentrated with a good structure. A wine with a soft, velvety and pleasant taste.
