Aroma (Nose) - Soft, smooth peat with cereals and a green, earthy note. Accents of vanilla, light pepper, and subtle wood. Some tasters describe a faint medicinal / antiseptic edge from the Caol Ila core. Additional critic note: Earthy peat smoke, lanolin, antiseptic, salty tang, creamy vanilla, citrus, menthol, aniseed.

Palate - Caol Ila peat upfront: soft smoke, oak, and a touch of oily fish and malt.

With water: caramel, marmalade, pepper, and fruity sweetness (likely from Glenkinchie).Medium‑bodied with an oily mouthfeel and hints of vanilla and cinnamon.

Honey, citrus, peat, chocolate, and big smoke. Dark chocolate, dried fruits, sea salt, brine, caramel, toffee.
