This single cask of Bas Armagnac was made at Château de Lacaze, a now closed producer.
This house is located in Eauze.
Colour: Amber.
Nose: The age brings complexity. In this case, we’re finding a rather intricate combination of hazelnuts, chestnuts, walnut, then a rather drier honey, cane syrup, raisins of course, and many pastries.
Mouth: Mingling with oriental flavours, rosewater, Turkish delights… and then the earth, cigars, prunes, toffee, marmalade…
Finish: Rather long, oaky and touches of cinnamon, clove, and pepper in the aftertaste. Earthy black tea. Berries, soft candyfloss and turkish delight.
