Ah, good old Asbach Uralt, a German brandy that remained fairly popular decades after the first and second world wars as some soldiers had became quite fond of it.

This bottling dates from the 1970s and will have been aged in Limousin oak casks for around 3 years.

Taste: Sweet and thick, with intense dark fruits, then black pepper and a hot finish.
