Fruit sourced from old vines in the warm Lodi region in central California. This wine is 100% Zinfandel, matured to maximize freshness by holding it for one year in stainless steel. It then sees some American oak aging for around a month to soften prior to bottling. This matures the wine yet preserves the fruit. The result is a full-bodied wine with soft tannin and rich mouth feel. Classic Zinfandel notes of berry, tea and plum combine with soft smoky tones.
