From the town of Dorgali in the NW of Sardinia comes this winner of the 2016 silver medal from 'Concours Mondial Bruxelles'. A very aromatic bouquet of dark red fruits, rosemary and myrtle. On the palate there are notes of French oak, dark cherry and a big mouthfeel. The tannins are nicely integrated with the fruit, giving a soft velvety edge to the fruit. Pair with smoked meats, mushroom dishes and cheese.
