M&M fine wine investment service

As an alternative to traditional sources of investment, a smart investor can make a reasonable return for a lower outlay by purchasing and storing fine wine to then sell at a later date. Wine is more than a simple commodity; it is a tangible luxury and an asset that many aspire to know more about. For a five to ten year period, an investment of as little as a few hundred pounds can yield results. The investment cellar can then be added to each year, much like a share portfolio.

Selection of wine. Our wine list contains some fine wines that will not only improve with age, but also increase in value. These are listed on the page below. You may also bring in wines from your own cellar, or ask our knowledgeable staff to help you purchase from the open market. The staff of M&M regularly attends auctions and wine trade events, keeping our finger on the pulse of the trade.

Sales and costs. If you so chose, M&M will make you an offer for your collection, though we would suggest that you use our brokerage service. Any wine bought through M&M has our approval, which is based on many years in the wine industry. We will take your wine selection to auction for 10% commission. Storage of all wines held by M&M is only one pound per year per bottle and is invoiced annually. The wine is stored in stable conditions and fully insured for replacement value.

M & M packages. We offer two packages: 1. £500 per year for five years; 2. £200 per year for 10 years*.

Due to the wealth of experience, M&M can offer advice on a particular parcel of wines based on knowledge of the market and can substantiate this with evidence from various industry sources and is our opinion. This means the consumer can make an informed decision. M&M cannot give advice or guarantees on investments or financial advice. For financial advice, it is suggested that an Independent Financial Advisor (IFA) is contacted prior to making any investment.

Until the end of the term, the goods remain property of M&M. If payment is not made at any time, or the investor wishes to withdraw before term, only 50% of the original investment will be repaid.
