Character & Legacy
BNJ was known for having one of the highest malt contents of any blended Scotch, giving it a rich, full-bodied profile uncommon in blends.
It was praised for its balance, complexity, and versatility, often recommended as a daily dram or a cigar companion.
Discontinued in 2014 to preserve Glenmorangie’s malt stocks, BNJ has since become a cult classic, with bottles fetching high prices on the secondary market.
The Bennachie Scotch Whisky Co was an independent bottler that produced The Bennachie Scotch whisky brand. It also offered bespoke labels for third-party clients and bottled occasional single malt releases. The company operated between 1997 and 2010.
