Greenore 8 Year Old Single Grain Irish Whiskey – Tasting Notes
Appearance :- Pale gold to amber, slightly lighter than typical Irish whiskey
Nose: -Smoky spice, oak, sandalwood, and allspice. Touches of orange zest, evolving into creamy vanilla. Earthy and mellow, with hints of caramel and corn oil. Subtle notes of honey, golden syrup, and green apple skin
Palate :- Sweet vanilla and caramel dominate. Rich and creamy texture with white fruit, buttery oak, and a pinch of nutmeg. Faint spice: cloves, cinnamon, and ginger. Earthy undertones with a soft smoky vanilla character
Finish :- Long and mellow. Lingering sweet corn oil, cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of black pepper. Smooth and sweet, ideal for those transitioning from sweeter spirits
Greenore 8 Year Old is often described as the “training bra of whiskies” for its approachable sweetness and gentle complexity—a great introduction to single grain styles.
