1960’s Gilbey’s Spey Royal Whisky

An old brand that used to belong to Gilbey’s, owners of Glen Spey Distillery.

Colour: Light gold.

Nose:Rather grassy, with some porridge, vanilla, touches of liquorice wood, and caramel/toffee. Mouth: Smokey, fresh, clean.

Finish: Nice notes of apple juice and fresh malt. A little smoke in the aftertaste.
