The House of Lords Deluxe Blended Scotch Whisky from the 1980s is a blend that has garnered a fair amount of appreciation among whisky enthusiasts. Here are some general tasting notes:
Nose: Expect a light and delicate aroma with hints of honey, vanilla, and a touch of citrus. There might also be subtle notes of oak and malt.
Palate: On the palate, it tends to be smooth and well-balanced, with flavors of caramel, toffee, and a slight nuttiness. Some tasters also note a gentle spice and a hint of fruitiness.
Finish: The finish is typically medium in length, with a lingering sweetness and a mild, warming sensation.
This blended whisky has been supplied to the House of Lords by William Whiteley & Co and has, at it's core, single malt whisky from what was the smallest distillery in Scotland at the time, Edradour.
