Description: Tamnavulin is a modern distillery, but back in the 1980s, it wasn’t as widely available as it is today. This 10-year-old expression would have been quite sought after even then. Expect a light, citrus-led style with lemon and orange notes, complemented by roasted nuts and a touch of dried fruit. A delightful '80s Speyside dram indeed

Nose: Clean, but also quite mineral, flinty, oily… The kind of profile I like. Notes of parsley, green beans, lots spearmints, lemon balm, hints of camphor… nice!

Mouth: Starts almost like mint liqueur, with also quite some Chartreuse and huge notes of genepi. Goes on with lemon cake, caramelized nuts, camomile tea…

The finish is quite long, at that, lemony and slightly gingery.
