Appearance: Surprisingly dark for its age, with a deep ruby core and slight garnet rim.

Nose: Fresh and vibrant aromas of blackcurrants, plums, and a touch of sherbet. Subtle hints of green stems, rose petals, and earthy undertones

Palate: Robust and youthful despite its maturity. Flavors of dark berries, toffee, and spiced chocolate. Firm structure with balanced acidity and tannins. Developing layers of dried fruit, walnuts, and herbal notes

Finish: Long and warming with lingering notes of cocoa, black tea, and a whisper of mint

A beautifully balanced vintage port showing both freshness and complexity. It’s drinking well now but may continue to evolve gracefully.
