1995 Inchgower 20 year old 51.5% abv Speyside Douglas Laing, Old Particular

Nose: Punchy, grassy, an lots of mineral notes. With water: It got phenolic, meaty and farmy, lots of smoked ham, leather and vegetable soup plus strawberry crème. Very nice profile.

Mouth (neat): Spicy and leathery tones. With water: Spicy and herbal, pleasantly bitter, meaty (beef jerky) and salty. Good oakiness and then more cooked vegetables.

Finish: Rather long, with more salt and more oak.
