Dow’s Late Bottled Vintage Port 2000 –

Aromatic Profile - Prune, cooked black cherry, and black cherry jam form the core fruit expression. Peppery spice, black tea, and licorice add a savoury, slightly austere edge. Subtle notes of tarry depth, cardamom, coffee, and a whisper of smoked leather appear with air.

Palate - Still youthful and a touch fiery, showing Dow’s signature structure. Ripe, round, slightly tannic attack with a well‑judged sugar–acidity balance. Flavours echo the nose: spicy black cherry, dark jam, tar, coffee, and a mint‑tinged finish.

Finish - Warm, peppery, and persistent, with that characteristic Dow’s dryness and grip.
