Located at the gateway to the Scottish Highlands, in the town of Pitlochry, Perthshire, Blair Athol distillery sits. The Allt Dour Burn runs from the hills surrounding Pitlochry, to the site of the distillery. Established in 1798, by John Stewart and Robert Robertson, the distillery was acquired and re-opened by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1933. The millennium glass decanter was released to commemorate the new millennium, right back to the birth of scotch whisky, 1494 “Uisge beatha” – Water of Life.
Aroma - Sweetness upfront - Honey, Vanilla and Light wood
Palate - Sweet and approachable. Wood, honey, peaches, and vanilla. Soft, easy‑drinking texture typical of Bell’s blended style
A blend of up to 40 malt and grain whiskies, matured in oak and built around Blair Athol’s malty core
