Vindemio Caeli is a red wine from the Ventoux region of France, made from a blend of Shiraz/Syrah, Grenache, and Mourvedre grapes. It is characterized by soft, light tannins and an enjoyable drinkability, with notes of forest berries, wet stones, and peppercorns. The wine is produced at Domaine Vindemio, located at an altitude of 400 meters, near the Mont Ventoux, and is known for its certified organic production practices.
Appearance - Deep ruby‑purple with a youthful, glossy sheen. Medium‑plus concentration, typical of old‑vine Grenache from altitude
Aromas - Blackberry, wild forest berries, and black cherry. Peppercorn, garrigue, and dried herbs
and a touch of leather. A faint mineral coolness from the 400m altitude vineyards
Palate - Full‑bodied but balanced by fresh, mountain‑slope acidity. Juicy core of blackberry, blueberry, and ripe raspberry. Fine, silky tannins giving shape without heaviness. Notes of pepper, earth, leather, and forest floor. A subtle savoury edge from Mourvèdre and Syrah. Warm, rounded texture with a creamy mid‑palate
Finish - Long and gently spicy. Lingering berry fruit, pepper, and earthy complexity. A clean, mineral lift at the end
