2022 Maison Sichel Margaux

Appearance: Deep garnet with violet hues; youthful intensity and clarity.

Nose: Aromatic lift of blackcurrant, violet, and damson plum. Secondary notes of cedar, graphite, and a touch of dried rose petal. Subtle hints of vanilla, clove, and tobacco leaf from restrained oak aging.

Palate: Medium to full-bodied with silky tannins and a refined structure. Core of ripe black fruits—black cherry, cassis—layered with earth, herbs, and mineral tension. Excellent balance between ripeness and freshness, thanks to early picking and careful extraction.

The finish is long, elegant, and slightly savory, with lingering spice and floral lift.
