A powerful, peat‑forward Indian single malt distilled from Scottish peated barley (~23 ppm) and matured 4–6 years in ex‑bourbon and charred oak under Bengaluru’s accelerated aging climate.
Nose - Aromatic peat leads, more sweet than smoky, followed by layers of salted chocolate, brown sugar, apricot, date, orange, and fresh pastry. A touch of vanilla blooms when inhaled deeply.
Palate - Full‑bodied, oily, and intense. The opening shows vanilla, cooked plantains, date, and a surge of peat smoke. Mid‑palate brings smoked brisket, toffee, orange peel, and lemon peel, with underlying spice and pepper.
Finish - Exceptionally long and spicy, with dry oak, smoke, clove, and lingering salted caramel and cooked plantains. The peat remains assertive, leaving a warm, smoky afterglow.
Master of Malt highlights bonfire smoke, barley, and over‑ripe fruit.
ABV: 57.1% (natural cask strength)
Maturation: 4–6 years in ex‑bourbon & charred oak under high‑temperature, high‑evaporation conditions
Profile: Intense peat • Sweet ripe fruit • Spice • Smoke • Oily texture
This is a serious enthusiast’s whisky—a cask‑strength, peat‑driven Indian malt with remarkable richness for its age.It sits beautifully alongside Islay heavyweights but offers a distinctively Indian sweetness and spice.
