Nose - Robust, earthy, and unmistakably Ben Nevis. Malt loaf, toffee, and honeyed cereal. Stewed orchard fruit: baked apple, pear skin. Citrus oils — lemon zest, orange pith. A savoury, slightly funky dunnage note (the signature Ben Nevis ferment character)Hints of wet stone, pine resin, and a touch of smoke
Palate - Full‑bodied, oily, and richly textured. Thick malt sweetness, toffee, and caramelised sugar. Apricot, sultana, and orange marmalade, cocoa, leather, mineral smoke. Spice builds: ginger, white pepper, clove. A savoury, slightly waxy edge that anchors the fruit
Finish - Long, warming, and complex. Oak spice, dark chocolate, and malt loaf. Lingering citrus oils, earth, and a faint smoky dryness
