Nose :- Barley and cereal grains with a rustic, Highland character. Vanilla, butterscotch, and light florals. Subtle citrus notes—lemon zest and green apple emerge with waterHints of wood and heather

Palate :- Mild spice and bitter citrus interplay with oak and greengage. Delicate texture, leaning toward floral and nutty. A sweet opening reminiscent of Juicy Fruit gum, followed by a crisp, nutty mid-palate. Water enhances the citrus and smooths the edges

Finish :- Medium length. Notes of dried fruits, heather honey, and a drift of smokeEnds with oak and lingering citrus notes

Character & Legacy

Bennachie was a revived brand using the name of a long-defunct distillery near Aberdeenshire.

The whisky was crafted to simulate the taste of the original Bennachie spirit using a blend of single malts.

Though not widely celebrated, it holds collector appeal due to its rarity and distinctive bottle design.
