2024 in the Nahe delivered wonderfully clean, aromatic whites with vibrant acidity. Bacchus—already known for its exuberant perfume—absolutely shines in this vintage, offering both freshness and playful sweetness.
Appearance - Pale lemon with silver highlights, youthful and brilliantly clear.
Aroma - Intensely aromatic: elderflower, honeysuckle, and white peach. Notes of ripe pear, citrus blossom, and a touch of muscat‑like grapiness. A subtle herbal lift—lemongrass and mint—keeps the nose lively.
Palate - Light to medium‑bodied with a juicy, off‑dry sweetness typical of Spätlese. Flavours of lychee, pear drops, mandarin, and green apple sorbet. Crisp, balancing acidity prevents any heaviness and gives the wine a refreshing snap. A gentle mineral thread—classic Nahe—runs beneath the fruit.
Finish - Clean, fragrant, and moderately long, leaving impressions of citrus zest and elderflower.
