The estate lies in the heart of the Stags Leap District, the first viticultural area in the United States to be approved based on the distinctiveness of its soils. A blend of 89% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot and 2% Petit Verdot; it shows lovely ripe, sweet red berry and blackcurrant fruit on a well-structured palate, with good aromatics and a bright acidity which gives the finish both liveliness and length.

Lots of purple fruit with raspberries and blackberries follow through to a medium to full body with chewy tannins and a flavorful finish.
