The Courvoisier Erté Collection No.4: Vieillissement is the fourth chapter in the legendary Erté series, each bottle representing a stage in the Cognac-making process through the lens of Art Deco master Erté. “Vieillissement” translates to “Aging,” and this edition celebrates the slow, transformative maturation of eaux-de-vie in oak casks.
Nose :- Opulent and aromatic, with candied fruit, floral notes, and a touch of oak. Hints of violet, dried apricot, and orange blossom lend a perfumed elegance. A whisper of rancio, suggesting deep age and oxidative complexity
Palate :- Rich and harmonious, with flavors of honey, roasted almond, and warm spice. Layers of dried apricot, fig, and vanilla unfold gradually. Silky texture with a refined sweetness and gentle tannic grip from the oak
Finish :- Long and elegant, echoing spice, toffee, and a lingering floral lift
ABV: 40%
Style: Extra Cognac (very old Grande Champagne eaux-de-vie)
Packaging: Each bottle features Erté’s artwork depicting the aging process, housed in a numbered, collectible decanter
Legacy: Only 1,000 cases of each Erté edition were produced, making this a true collector’s gem
This Cognac is a sensory tribute to time itself—how oak, air, and patience shape spirit into poetry.
