Colour: Dark amber.

Nose:Dry, almost smoky at times, and also a little gamy. Bouillon, cooked marrow, cured ham, and then rather bitter chocolate and black raisins. Notes of honey and caramel.

Mouth: Orange jam, honeydew, maple syrup, stewed peaches and Demerara sugar, and even hints of molasses.

Finish: Medium and a pleasant earthiness in the aftertaste.
