Nose: Grassy with pretty high oak extraction, and heavy notes Vanilla, Dried apples, Pears, Bright citrus, as well as a grassy smokiness. Dairy cream, a fresh loaf of wholegrain bread, and only after a good five minutes, much more vanilla and light syrups (corn). Leaven.
Mouth: Dried fruits dominate, complemented by: Ginger, Raisins, Cinnamon. Quite some pepper, cut grass, leaves and apple peels. With water, additional flavors emerge: Allspice, Dessert wine, Barley malt and Cured ham
Finish: long, peppery, Sweet and flavorful Hints of: Cedar, Oak and Cloves
