Glen Garioch The Renaissance 1st Chapter
Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky • 15 Years • 51.9% ABV • Cask Strength
Appearance - Radiant amber-gold with copper highlights and a faint mahogany rim, reflecting its dual maturation in bourbon and sherry casks.
Nose - Opulent and layered: Orange zest, ripe orchard fruit, and toffee lead the way. Sherry oak contributes dark fruit, cinnamon, and clove, balanced by toasted almond and a whisper of heather smoke. A subtle sea breeze adds freshness and depth.
Palate - Full-bodied and velvety, showing confident Highland character: Dark sherried fruit—prune, fig, raisin, and pineapple—intertwined with orange peel, vanilla, and butterscotch. Cardamom, honey, and black pepper rise mid-palate, supported by a robust cereal backbone. The 51.9% strength gives texture and liveliness without harshness.
Finish - Long, warm, and gently dry: Cinnamon, nutmeg, and orange peel linger with caramel, ginger, and oak spice. A final touch of nutmeg and pepper leaves a tactile warmth
“A confident Highland malt marrying sherry fruit and gentle smoke — rich toffee, orange zest, and warm spice over a velvety, balanced finish.”
