Glenfarclas “Celebrating Our 175th Anniversary”

Dark wood tones and old hazelnuts lie slightly tart on the tongue, creamy, wet leaves are slightly bitter on the palate before sweet oranges and old apples slowly combine with leather and minimally smoky notes.

The Glenfarclas 175th Anniversary Limited Edition is a special release that combines whisky from six decades. Here are the tasting notes:

Color: Amber heather honey.

Aroma: Toffee and vanilla, which become more pronounced with time in the glass.

Palate: A blend of heavy sherry notes from the 1950s and 1960s, light fruitiness from the 1970s and 1980s, freshness from the 1990s, and surprising maturity from the youngest casks from 2000.

Finish: Long and fruity, with a mix of sweet oranges, old apples, leather, and minimally smoky notes
