Glenfiddich - Pure Malt - 750ml - 40% vol

An unusual bottling of 'Pure Malt'. 75cl makes it pre 1994. In original box. Very collectible.

It’s known for its signature pear nose, making it a delightful and drinkable dram

Colour: Pale straw.

Nose: Rather expressive, grainy, with a slight smokiness at first nosing. Gets much mashier after a moment (bold notes of mashed potatoes and boiled milk) and then rather grassy, with also whiffs of violets and lilac. Wilder than more recent versions.

Mouth: An attack that’s pretty okay, hugely grassy again.

Finish: Grassy and dry.
