Johnnie Walker 12 yo 'Black Label' (40%, OB, +/-2012)

Colour: Gold.

Nose: Slightly smoky, with distinct herbal notes in the background (coriander? Sorrel?) as well as a little aniseed on top of the expected toasted bread, orange marmalade and plain malt.

Mouth: Toasty/caramelly notes, a little smoked tea and liquorice. Good balance.

Finish: Medium with black tea and a dry aftertaste.
