Palate - Bonfire toffee, juniper, and vanilla. Touches of fresh coffee and dark chocolate from the oak influence. The original Makar freshness still present, with added cedar and crushed pepper warmth.

Finish - Warm, peppery, with lingering smoke from the virgin oak casks. Smooth, lightly spiced, with a gentle sweetness.

This is a bold, juniper‑led gin transformed by a short, intense maturation in new European oak. The result is a spirit that marries smoke, spice, vanilla, and dark confectionary notes with Makar’s bright, piney core. It’s superb neat, or as the heart of a smoky Negroni.
