This bottling is composed entirely of Borderies eaux-de-vie, the smallest and most aromatic cru in Cognac, known for its floral elegance and roundness.
Tasting Notes
Appearance: Clear, golden amber with a polished glow.
Nose: Hazelnut and Brazil nut richness. Fresh peach, dried apricot, and tangerine. Cream-of-soda vanilla, white grapes, and a touch of cedarwood
Palate: Nutty and fruity: hazelnut, Brazil nut, sweet peach, and dried apricot. Balanced with vanilla, light cinnamon spice, and dry cedarwood
Finish: Creamy peach and dry wood. Subtle nutmeg and cinnamon linger gently
Overall Impression: Dry, full-bodied, and elegant. The pronounced nuttiness and stone fruit character are beautifully framed by cedar and spice, making this a standout Borderies Cognac.
