1990’s MiltonDuff Glenlivet 12 Year Old 1 Litre Highland Malt

Colour: Pale straw.

Nose: Multiple grains, fresh apples and pears, porridge, malt and dandelions. Big fruits (the usual apples and pears but also notes of passion fruits and certainly lychees) followed by quite some incense, old roses, orange blossom water, muscat wine… Extremely demonstrative! Also hints of white chocolate, ‘a pack of marshmallows that you just opened’, strawberry flavoured lollipops... Quite sugary in fact, quite unusual and spectacular.

Mouth: Very sweet, grainy, sugary… tinned lychees and Turkish delights…

Finish: medium long, maltier, a little toasted, cereally… maltier and a little nutty,
