Appearance - Deep bronze‑gold with copper flashes, showing clear sherry influence and Oban’s signature coastal richness.

Nose - Layered, expressive, and unmistakably Oban: Salted caramel, orange peel, and heather honey.Dried apricot, sultana, and soft sherry warmth. A gentle sea‑spray minerality and a touch of smouldering oak. Malt loaf, walnut, and a faint herbal smoke.

Palate - Full, silky, and confidently structured at 51.7%: Toffee, burnt sugar, and spiced orange open the palate. Dark fruit—fig, raisin, black cherry—woven with ginger, nutmeg, and oak spice. A savoury coastal thread runs through: brine, charred barley, and a whisper of peat ember. Water brings out shortbread, almond, and a richer sherry depth.

Finish - Long, warming, and elegantly maritime:Cocoa nib, clove, and orange oil.Lingering salted toffee, oak char, and a final lift of peppery smoke.
