Sancerre Rosé Vincent Delaporte 2022

Vincent Delaporte's rose is always in short supply. Made from fresh run juice of Pinot Noir grapes. An unusual rosé, as it is grown exclusively in Delaporte's own vineyards in Chavignol, Sancerre. Overwhelming floral aromas, soft, fragrant fruit flavours with a fine dry finish. Perfect with fish or chicken dishes. A really delightful Summer wine for the discerning palate. 

The 2022 caused a splash..!

It has made the front cover of Decanter magazine, as it was voted number one in an article on the best 50 pink wines for the summer season.

Bright, perfumed and intense, with attractive strawberry and red fruit on the nose and palate, underlined by a leafy character that is lively and zippy. Slightly tart on the finish but it has a good deal of concentrated flavour supported by acidity and minerality that adds silkiness and texture.
