The Yamazaki Single Malt - Japan - 10 year old 40% vol

This is a superb malt from Kyoto made by the Suntory company. On the nose there is cedar, honey, spices (cloves) and citrus peels. On the palate the wood arrives first and then is followed by cranberries and honey. The finish is long lasting with woody overtones.
