Willi Opitz Opitz One red dessert wine is produced by the Opitz special method, which laid the foundations for a new wine category. Grapes are collected at the beginning of September and then lie for five months on reed mats. In doing so, the sugar and fruit juice are concentrated and this gives the resulting wine unique characteristics.

It has a delicate fruity aroma, a palate and a soft bitter chocolate flavor on the palate, and a long, elegant finish leaves a plum flavor in the mouth.
