Established in the 1960's, Green Island Rum, is the best known exported mauritian rum.
It is distilled from molasses, using a four colum process and is bleneded from rums aged 3 - 5 years. It is charcoal filtrated to remove the colour imparted by the aging to purify the rum.
Colour. Clear and transparent.
Nose. Hints of grass, aniseed and notes of toffee.
Tatse. A dry, light and clean palate with subtle notes of fennel, coconut and toffee.
Finish. Notes of peppermint and milk chocolate.
